Shamim Shehabi is 100th Shipley Approved Bid Coach

Shamim Shehabi, Global Content Manager at Siemens Enterprise Communications, has recently become the 100th person to be approved as a Bid Coach using the Shipley BidBench Assessment tool. We asked Shamim to tell us what it means to her to be a Shipley Approved Bid Coach

“Acquiring the Shipley Approved Bid Coach certification has provided me with the skill set to assess bids within Siemens Enterprise Communications with the knowledge and certainty that my recommendations will be considered seriously by my colleagues in the bid team. At Siemens Enterprise Communications, we aim to ensure all our bids are highly compliant, responsive and of the best quality and the BidBench tool has proven to be valuable; allowing me to scrutinise proposals to recognise areas where we could have done better. The actual BidBench certification itself has given me some solid experience in using the tool with the added bonus that it is a recognised qualification within Bid Management.”
